Sergeant Jamie Wilhite joined the Beckley Police Department in 2006 and has served as the Southern Regional Highway Safety Program coordinator since 2017. He coordinates highway safety enforcement, training, education, funding, and public awareness efforts for law enforcement agencies across seven southern West Virginia counties. A Raleigh County native and Army National Guard veteran, Wilhite has received numerous honors for distinguished service, DUI enforcement, and occupant protection.
